Sponsored by St. Margaret of Scotland Parish – St. Vincent de Paul Society

Whatever you did for one of my least brothers or sisters, you did for me. (Matthew 25:40)

This year 85 percent of our requests are for items for men.

Empty shoe boxes are wrapped in Christmas paper and filled with the items listed below. They will be distributed to residents of shelters, the homeless, nursing homes, and group homes.

Here are ways that you can participate:

1. Monetary donations. Cash or checks made payable to “Society of St. Vincent de Paul” can be placed in an envelope clearly marked OPERATION SHOE BOX and placed in an offertory collection basket at Mass.

2. Donate any of the items listed below: (there will be boxes in the rear of church and at the entrances for loose items as well as filled gift boxes)

  • shampoo

  • deodorant
  • combs
  • hats and gloves
  • toothpaste
  • disposable razors
