The St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Margaret recently submitted its annual report to the diocesan officials.

During the past year, $29,368 was donated in the form of church/poor box collections, Thanksgiving and Holy Thursday offertory collections, SVdP donations and contributions, and fundraising (Special Works and Events/Friends of the Poor Walk).

$28,630 was disbursed among the poor. The money was used and distributed for food purchases, rent and mortgage assistance, utility payments, household repairs/maintenance, furniture/appliances, transportation/lodging, and domestic twinning (helping other SVdP conferences).

Thirteen members of the St. Vincent de Paul Society are engaged in works of mercy and in caring for the poor and sick (125 recipients). Your generous contributions made you a benefactor in these works of charity.
